Lunar Eclipse

July 2018 · 1 minute read · photos astro timelapse moon lunar eclipse

A timelapse and stills of the recent total lunar eclipse. I started the timelapse at 5:45am and ran it for a couple of hours until total eclipse. I shot using my Sony a7ii with the Zeiss 55mm lens with stills of 1400 of a second taken at f/9.0 and ISO 250.

Shortly after the total eclipse began the clouds came in and the sun came up so there was only around 10 minutes to shoot the red moon.
